We all want to use our mobile devices without worrying about the battery life. But, because this is not possible we need to use the electricity conservation technologies provided by our operating systems. So, if you are using a mobile device with Windows 10, and you don't want to run out of battery unexpectedly, then read this article in order to learn how to use and configure the Battery Saver mode.

How Activate Or Deactivate The Battery Saver Mode In Windows 10

Obviously, the Battery Saver mode can be used only on battery. By default this mode will be enabled automatically when the battery life reaches the critical point of 20%. But, if you want to activate it manually, simply press the battery icon on the task-bar and click or tap the Battery saver button.

When the Battery Saver feature is on, you will see a small green leaf over the same battery icon on the taskbar.

If you want to disable this mode, press the battery icon on the taskbar and then click or tap again the Battery saver button.

The Battery Saver mode can be enabled and disabled from the Settings app. You can open it by clicking or tapping the Settings button from the bottom left area of the Start Menu.

How Configure Battery Saver In Windows 10

If you want to change the default settings of the Battery Saver mode, first open the Settings app. Next, press on the System button and then select Battery saver in the left side menu.
In the Battery Saver section of the System window, click or tap the Battery saver settings link.

In the Battery Saver Settings window you'll see several settings. Here, you can choose when the Battery Saver mode will turn on. By, default it is set to turn on when your battery life is at 20%, but you can change it to whatever level you want by moving the slider. If you don't want the Battery Saver mode to turn on automatically when the battery level reaches a particular critical point, simply uncheck the box next to Turn battery saver on automatically if my battery falls below and go forward.

The second option is related to notifications. If you prefer to receive app notifications even when the Battery Saver is on, then check the box near the text that says Allow push notifications from any app while in battery saver.

If you can give up some applications, then add the most important ones at the Always allowed list, by pressing the Add an app tile. As they say: "These apps can run in the background and can send and receive push notifications, even when battery saver is on.".

Last, but not least, we have an option for the screen brightness. If you check the Lower screen brightness while battery saver setting, when the Battery Saver turns on, your display will be dimmed.
